Oscar Wilde et Roman Coolus: An original theatre program by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, 1896. In this work commissioned by the Theatre de l'Oeuvre, Lautrec portrays the writers Romain Coolus (left) and Oscar Wilde (right). In its final state the lithograph was used, along with a single column advertisement for the Revue Encyclopedique, as the program for Coolus's play "Raphael," and Oscar Wilde's "Salome," which had been banned in London.
