Portrait: An Italian Futurist period oil on board painting by Ernesto Micaelles (Thayaht), 1927. Signed and dated on reverse with drawing, as pictured below. Thayaht was the pseudonym of Italian born artist and designer Ernesto Micaelles (1893-1959.) He, along with his brother, Ruggero Alfredo Micaelles (RAM), was one of the driving forces of Italy's Futurist movement.
