Raduno Ciclistico Interprov: Italian poster advertising a one day interprovinical bicycle race, 1941 (the XIX next to 1941 indicates that it was created in the 19th year of Mussolini's reign.) Cignetti was a proponent of Italy's "Futurist" style, in part a product of Cubist influence.

Futurism was an artistic and social movement that originated in Italy in the early 20th century. It glorified modernity and aimed to liberate Italy from the weight of the past. Cubism contributed to the formation of Italian Futurism's artistic style, which in turn, influenced the Art Deco movement.
