Napoleon: Huge (four sheet!) and very rare Italian poster by Achille Mauzan, 1911. This dramatic depiction of Napoleon looking out at his battlefield is quite possibly connected with the 1911 release of the Italian silent film "Napoleone a Sant' Elena" (Napoleon at Saint Helena) directed by Mario Caserini.
French born Mauzan (1883-1952) moved to Italy in 1905, where he created some of the most memorable posters of the period.
