Empress of Scotland: Originally named the "Empress of Japan," the Empress of Scotland was a cruise ship launched by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1930.

Wilkinson (1878-1971) was primarily a marine painter. President of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, he created a number of distinguished designs for the Canadian Pacific, LMS and other rail lines.
