S.S. Conte di Savoia: The "S.S. Conte di Savoia", or "Count of Savoy" was an Italian ocean liner. Built in 1932 for the Lloyd Sabaudo line, it later became part of the Italia Flotte Riunite line after a merger occurred with the Navigazione Generale Italiana. It was designed to appeal to passengers with modern details and accomodations. Having been the first ocean liner to utilize gyroscopic stabilizers, the "Count of Savoy" has a unique place in history.
