Pour L'Art XXIIL Salon Annvel: A Belgian Art Deco period poster by Anto Carte advertising a 1921 exhibition of paintings and sculptures sponsored by the "Cercle Artistique et Litteraire," an association founded in 1921 which held an annual salon with works by member artists.

Anto Carte (1886-1954) was a Belgian born painter and graphic artist who often used mythological characters in his work. His was a member of the "l'Academie Royale de Belgique" and one of the founders of the "Groupe Nervia," which promoted the art and artists of Wallonia.
