Sciences Lettres: Decorative work by Cappiello on golden paper featuring a book dedicated to Sciences and Letters which is being supported by three floating figures, possibly Muses.
Cappiello is often called the father of modern advertising due to his bold, new stylistic approach to advertising characterized by his bold use of colors, flat, empty backgrounds, and most importantly the introduction of product identity/logos - all of which have helped transform and influence the fields of advertising and graphic design to this day.
