Coastal Village: Frank Perri (born Francesco Saverio Perri) immigrated from Italy to Chicago in the early 1930s. Among his most notable works are depictions of  figures, child portraits and urban scenes. Perri was president of the Oak Park Art League, where he lived. His work was exhibited at the Carnegie Institute and the Art Institute of Chicago. Perri's travels to Mexico in the 1930s, inspired some of his later work.
