Zsolnay Three Handled Cup: Late 19th C. Hungarian porcelain goblet/vessel by Zsolnay, c. 1898. Gold eosin glaze; flower and vine decoration accented by red "berry" cabochons. Four lower branch arms; red glaze on interior.
Miklos Zsolnay established the Zsolnay porcelain factory in the city of Pecs in 1853. In 1893, the company introduced the "eosin" glaze that set it apart from other manufacturers. Zsolnay continues to produce architectural elements and hand painted porcelain to the present day.
